About
After bouncing around at a few local colleges in upstate New York, Randolph Gentile made the decision to move to New York City where he attended Pratt Institute. He landed an internship in the famous Marvel Bullpen and was able to turn that into a full-time gig in the now defunct Marvel in-house lettering department where he lettered damn near every Marvel book at one time or another including Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Uncanny X-Men, Punisher, and Daredevil.
He’s also lettered for DC Comics where his work was seen in funny books like Batman, Detective Comics, Gotham Underground, Teen Titans and Booster Gold.
Today Gentile self publishes his own line of comics starting with his autobiographical series NYComix, an original story titled “Viral: A Slasher Comic”, "The Hackman Connection" and the critically acclaimed 220 page True Crime graphic novel “Leave Something Witchy, The True Story of the Manson Family”.
His next book is a historical fiction book called “Diamond” about prohibition gangster “Legs Diamond”.
The LazyComix line of books is currently over 500 pages of self published comix and growing.
You can find his often updated artwork and comix announcements on his Instagram account.
